Devotional Stories from Puranas

Preface Generally conception about Puranas in today's society is a bunch of devotional stories. In reality, it teaches humans how to lead an ideal life by following four folds of life viz. Dharma, Artha Kama and Moksha. Infact, Puranas are first among the Shastras, even before Vedas. Previously there was only one Mahapurana which was later divided into 18 Puranas to help mankind as per the yuga process.
