The volume opens with a garland of twelve poetic panegyric compositions in Sanskrit by renowned poets like Prof. V. Kutumba Sastry, Prof. Rajendra Mishra, Prof. Harikriishna Satapathy, Prof. Kishore Chandra Mohapatra, and others offering their felicitations to Justice Misraji. Then follows the floral bunch of four memoirs and tributes by eminent scholars, friends and admirers having deep reverence and devotion to Hon'ble Misraji like Prof. Ramaranjan Mukherji, Prof. Shridhar Vasishtha and others. These sixteen poetic compositions, memoirs and felicitations followed by a brief biographical sketch bring out several characteristics of his personality and his contribution to the field of Law, Sanskrit and Indology and knowledge and learning.

The part II of this volume divided into four cascades and sixteen sections signifying sixteen Purusottama-Kalas, is a vaijayantimala, a beautiful garland of sixty-four varied fragrant flowers in the form of sixty-four learned papers from renowned legal experts and Indologists of India and abroad (few maiden papers from our researchers too) covering diverse aspects of Law and Indology mainly centring upon Vidhikistra, Dharmakistra and Arthakeunamoksatrayt.

The four cascades of this Presentation volume deal with various Vedic, sociological, religious, educational, cultural, literary, Buddhistic, dharmasastric, arthasastric and kamasastric problems mainly concerned with Law and Dharmasastra based on ancient Indian and modern texts.

I have immense pleasure in introducing to the world of scholars the present volume Sriranganathasrih brought out in honour of Hon'ble Justice Shri Ranganath Misraji, an ardent devotee and lover of Vidhisastra-Sahitya-Sangita-Kala, law, literature, music and arts. Indeed, it is a laudable venture of his numerous colleagues, friends and admirers to honour him, a savant of rare distinction with the presentation of a Festschrift on his Both birthday, his Satabhiseka Mahotsava.

This Festschrift comprises sixteen panegyrics and poetic compositions by renowned composers and sixty-four research papers by eminent scholars touching many aspects of the theme entitled Gems of Law and Dharmasastra. They are all original studies on an area of their specialization. I am sure, this volume will be received as an inspiring cascade of Law and Indology with fervour, zeal and freshness by veteran scholars, budding penmen and young researchers alike.
