Studies in Hindu Law (An Old Book)

The utility and importance of the research articles published from time to time in the pages of Sarasvati Bhavana Studies can hardly be overestimated. The series under the most efficient custodianship of renowned savants like Dr. Ganganatha Jha and Dr. Gopinath Kaviraja drew the attention and admiration of the scholars working in the different fields of Indological research all over the academic world. As the copies of the first publications are no more available, it was felt to reprint them. It was also felt, however, that the articles of Dr. Ganganatha Jha which appeared in a number of issues of the Studies should be collected together and published in a separate volume in the interest of the scholars who would get them in one place in a single volume. The present volume contains the reprint of Dr. Ganganatha Jha's essays on 'Studies in Hindu Law' divided into four sections.
