Atharva is now six. Whenever I go to Kallahalli, he is always around me. I am his meal mate. So also, his playmate. When it is night, I have to tell him stories and put him to sleep. This is an unbroken bond that exist between us.
I do not like to tell stories that someone else has already told. Similarly, I don't like to narrate the mythological stories simply from memory. It has to be new. It has to be a reflection of my own self. That is my way. So, I keep looking for newer thoughts when I sit down to tell him a story. The stories here are those that were born that way.
