Foreword Powers of God, Guru and intention are very important aspects in the journey of life. These powers greatly help for one's development in life, which becomes . fruitful. We cannot think properly without a strong power of intention. We cannot progress without the powers of God and Guru.

By the flow of grace and mercy of Sad guru Sri . Antipathy Sachchidananda Swamiji, we are all nourished with these three powers. We are fortunate to visit Kashi it; November 2009 along with Sri Swamiji. Now, in March 2014 we are again fortunate to make the pilgrimage to Rameshwaram along with Gurudeva.

The visits to the pious places of Kashi and Rameshwara are really great. Moreover to make these trips along with the Sad guru is more meritorious. However, some people might not be able to undertake the tour due to some problem or the other. Hence to benefit them also with the merit of the pilgrimage, Sri Swamiji is making this gift of "Gems of Shiva Hymns" in the form of this small book. We wish that all the devotees add these hymns also to their daily prayers and rituals and gain spiritual bliss. We prostrate to the lotus feet of Sri Gurudeva who always works hard and yearns for the welfare of the Universe.
