About the Author An avid traveller, Mithila loves to read and write. She has completed her Ph.D on "Conflict Resolution and Peace Building in Afghanistan (1990-2012)" She is currently teaching in Bharati College.
Preface A citizen feels secure within the periphery of its country. He is identified by his nationality. Within a nation; citizens are entitled for their rights. But what happens when there is a crisis in their country which forces him to leave his home and herd. And they then travel into an unknown world, guided by their destiny without any rights to access food, shelter and clothes. Are they, first, allowed to temporarily reside in a country? If yes, then any xyz can start residing into country and carry out anti-social activities in the state. What are the policies relating to refugees? Does the government of the host country owe any obligation to them for sustaining their survival?
