The present work 'MAULIKA SIDDHĀNTA' is a comprehensive treatise which deals with the Basic Principles of Ayurveda and it's applied aspects. It is written in simple English for better understanding. The content of this book is designed as per the syllabus of first year of MD (Ayu.) Samhitā Siddhantā. The book will prove to be the most useful asset to the post-graduate students of Ayurveda Samhitā Siddhānta. It will also prove helpful to all those who are interested to peep in the basic fundamentals of Ayurveda science.
Dr. Vibhooti Chandrakar. daughter of Shri Jaiprakash Chandrakar and Mrs. Kuleshwari Chandrakar, was born on 10 Dec., 1985 in Sisdeori, Chhattisagarh has completed her B.A.M.S. in 2010 from I.G.M. Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Bhubaneswar and MD (Ayu.) Samhitā in 2013 from S.D.M. Ayurvedic Medical College, Udupi, Karnataka.
Dr. Vibhooti started her teaching carrier in 2014, is presently working as Associate Professor in Patanjali Bharatiya Ayurvigyan Evam Anusandhan Sansthana, Haridwar, Uttarakhand.
It is my great privilege and pleasure to undertake the work of writing the book “Ayurveda Siddhanta”. It became possible only by the grace of God Dhanvantari.
It is planned and written for the benefit of MD (Samhita and Siddhanta) students. Hence written in simple English as per syllabus, I assure that it will be benefited to them.
It affords me an immense pleasure to acknowledge with gratitude the help and guidance rendered to me by a host of people whom, I owe a substantial measure for the completion of this work.
