I wish the book and the author every success.
I am pleased to present this book to the readers as it has given me a splendid opportunity to share these nuggets of information on Ayurveda. The diseases which have been earlier treated with other systems of medicine have side effects besides being costly and not within the reach of the common people. So the centers of Ayurveda are being established in America, Japan, Germany and other parts of the world.
Ayurveda was conceived in India by the grace of Brahma the creator of the universe. In the present volume individual herbs for each disease are presented with their dosage. Treatment for 75 diseases have been dealt with for the benefit of our readers. the illustrations before their use. The names of the herbs are listed in different languages so that they are understood by different sections of the people.
The herbs which are mentioned in the book are in the central syllabus of BAMS the Ayurveda degree course. Hence this book would be of great help of them.
This book is not only useful for common people but also for the practitioners of Ayurveda and other systems of medicine.
I am highly indebted to Sri Javare Gowda former vice-chancellor of Mysore University for having written a foreword to this publications. I am also thankful to sterling publishers for having brought out this book well in time.
