Since, then the anchor has not only been devoting his time to the practice of religion as advocated by the Vedas and Shastras, but has also been looking into the scriptures of other religions with a doctoral approach.

The author sincerely believes that all the religions have the same god i.e. the development of the personality in the highest had and realization of the self

Author's Foreword

Tat Tvam Asi Is Tattvamasi. This means "Thou Art That". This is one of the four Mahavakyas.

Vak is Speech. Speech is Word.

In the Bible, "At first there was Word. Word was God. God created Man in his own image". Thus, it may be seen that the first principle was TAT. From this primordial principle only Sat, Chit and Ananda have emanated. This is Brahma Lakshanam.

What is Sat?

Yat Asthi Sanmatram (Sat + Matram) - That Which Is.

What is Chit?

Yat Vibhati Chinmatram (Chit + Matram) - That which manifests itself from SAT. This is the beginning of Existence.

What is Ananda?

Yat Priyam Anandam - Ananda is the interplay between Siva and Shakti. From this Shakti, other principles trickled down i.e. all the 36 Tattvas (Principles). Therefore, the entire Srushti (Creation) is only Tattva Kuta.

I believe that this book will give the readers a clear understanding that the entire creation is governed only by a plethora of Tattvas. This is Tattva Grama.

May the Almighty shower her blessings on all my Sishyas- Gururaj, Mokshay, Madhava Rao & my Grandson Kapil Srivatsa, who have been editing this guiding book.

Our thanks are due to the publisher Notion Press, Chennai.

Foreword

Guru Leka Etuvanti Guniki Theliyaka Bodhu - Saint Thyagaraja Swami

Ajnana Thimiraandhasya Jnanaajnana Shalakaya Chakshur Unmilitham Yena Tasmai Shri Gurave Namaha

Salutations to the Guru, who opens the eyes of the Sishya, which are closed by cataracts of Ignorance, and gives the wisdom to differentiate between Ignorance and Supreme Knowledge.

Words fail to describe the greatness of Guru and his Tattva, for Guru is verily the Para Brahman.

The Shastras declare,

Mathru Devo Bhava! Pitru Devo Bhava! Acharya Devo Bhava!

A Guru encompasses the loving care of a Mother and the guiding spirit of a Father.

It is under such loving care and guidance of my Guru, this book 'Tattva Grama' is compiled, explaining the incontrovertible reality eulogized by the Vedas, Shastras, Puranas, and Tantras.

Only a Guru can present the loftiest truths in a manner that can be assimilated by a layman.

Modern Science deals only with the physical nature of this vast and labyrinthine creation, brushing aside the subtlety and causality of this Universe.

Unfortunately, the subtle and the causal aspects of this Universe cannot be comprehended by any tool or standard, for the truth has to be discovered from within.

Just as a speck of sugar conveys the innate sweetness of sugarcane, so does the Jeevathma, which is merely a reflection of the Paramatma, presents the truth on a direct inference.

"He, who knows his Self, knows everything."

But knowing one's Self is not a child's play. It requires years of practice which involves preparedness to acquire, assimilate, retain and amplify the knowledge.

This preparedness can be achieved only by a personality development of the highest order.
