Book Description
Human life is not meant for whimsical, mindless living but for understanding God. KášášŁáša is God, and He can be understood by the process of bhakti (devotional service). The most authorized path of bhakti for the present age of quarrel and hypocrisy (Kali-yuga) is that taught by Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu.
yigos amor te Ville Lord Caitanya is KášášŁáša Himself in the form of a devotee. He taught the easiest method for self-realization, the chanting of the Hare Krsna mahÄ-mantra:
Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna,
KášášŁáša Krsna, Hare Hare mea
Hare Rama, Hare Rama, RÄma RÄma, Hare Hare abnu
As Lord Caitanya predicted, this chanting is no longer confined to India but has spread all over the world. His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada was empowered by Lord Caitanya to make this chanting process universally popular. In pursuance of the teachings of Lord Caitanya, Ĺrila Prabhupada founded the International Society for Krishna Consciousness in New York in 1966. Ĺrila Prabhupada passed away from this world in 1977, but the movement he started continues to grow.
