About the Author
Er. Ram Chandra Prasad, former Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Bhagalpur University and the Head of the Department of English at Patna University, is at present Principal, Patna College, one of the oldest teaching institutions in India. Author of several books, including the novels, Mahatma and Udara Majhe, Dr. Prasad has also edited F.S. Growse'sThe Ramayana, and translated Tulasi's magnum opus, The Ramacharitamanasa, into English. Patna University conferred on him the degree of D.Lit in recognition of his erudite work in Hindi entitled Aadhunik Hindi Aalochana Par Pashchyatya Prabhav in 1967.
