Communication and Interaction Networks

There is growing interest in the study of language in. different domains. Language use in a market place, doctor-patient interaction, lawyer-client interaction, are some of the areas studied recently. The present Monograph on Communication and Interaction Networks with Special Reference to an Industrial Setting is a welcome addition to this growing body of literature.

In the West studies in Industrial Settings have helped smoothen out relationship between Management and Labour. This has led to better relations and greater productivity. If the present study draws the attention of Linguistic scholars as well as Industrialists towards the problem, then our efforts would have been rewarded. I congratulate the Editor and all those responsible for the speedy production the book.
