Distance Education in Israel

The information and communication technologies are developing at a tremendous pace, entering every sphere, changing our lifestyle and becoming an important part of Israel culture, a main component in all living space. The Sate of Israel, like other western countries, is at the centre of the information and communication revolution. Israel does not lag behind, cannot allow itself to lag behind the developments that this revolution brings to our world. The information and distance learning revolution embodies great power which cannot be stemmed, forces with momentum of a new creation, which have intensity of total change in all aspects of the individual's environment and his culture. In such a period of revolution and creation, the educational system cannot stand aside.

Dr. Om Raj Singh Bishnoi (M.A. Ph.D.) has long experience of teaching research and training. He started his career by teaching graduate class in M.S. College, Saharanpur, U.P. and M.A. Class in J.V. Jain College, Saharanpur, U.P. under Department of Sociology. Dr. Bishnoi published 100 articles on different themes in many prestigious newspapers and journals.
