This book had a fascination for me since my own career owing to its lucid poetical treatment of the salient and important points of our Alankarasastra (Rhetoric) being the best specimen of our early school of Rhetoricians; so it is being edited now; in one sentence it defines Rasa (sentiment) as (Chap. I.) etc.; besides, the excellent Tika thereon by late Pandit Prem Chandra Tarkavagisa is simply superb and unsurpassed as yet and may be said as its Bhasya containing all knotty points of Rheoric; so I have appended it here in toto, with English translation of the main matters contained in the slokas.
