Book Description
Narhar Kurundkar (1932-82) hailed from Basmath in Parbhani district of Marathwada. A versatile genius, he wrote books in Marathi, related to such varying disciplines as history, politics, dramaturgy, literary criticism, aesthetics and fine arts and contributed to the cause of education and culture in Maharashtra.
Initially a teacher, he became a lecturer in Marathi and Principal of the college where he taught. Associated with Rashtra Seva Dala ideology, he shared in Sane Guruji's long cherished dream of Antarbharati and as such lectured on democracy, socialism, secularism, national integration, etc. in Maharashtra and even outside it. He firmly believed in the tenets of both Gandhism and Marxism and severely criticized their excesses and limitations also.
