Book Description
The World full of busy people, always running 'here' and 'there', for 'this' and 'that'. Where number of cars, flyovers and bridges is development status, the residential theory advocates for a momentary respite. Where we are increasing our dependence on fuels, it suggests to decrease the dependence. The residential theory is a thought against the time, for the time. The residential theory is a vision for life, to add meaning to it, to give some time, love and care to it. To make it peaceful & healthy in a peaceful & healthy way.
Why I need to write this book? The reason is that I am unsatisfied with the way life is going on and when I see around, find that I am not alone but somewhere in a crowd full of grumbling people, like me. We are living because some has not yet lost their hope or some has accepted the life as it is, but they are not leading their life. Everyone seems to be grumbling about either the system or themselves, either their life or their destiny. But they are compelled to live this life as they had no other options. What are the factors which are compelling people to live the life, they don't wish to live? Everyone desperately wishing for a better life, where they can live with the peace, listens to the silence, enjoy the smoothness of life, and have time to feel its pace. Whenever they get a little break from busy schedule, they are found to do so. So beaches, parks and gardens are filled to capacity on weekends but that's too little, not enough. Today we all are busy 24*7 but the development rate is merely 7-9 percent.
But a question, does this figure reflect enough for all our or does all our effort is to achieve only this figure, kept me disturbing. If answer is 'yes', we need to proceed further but if answer is 'no', then many more questions like, why are we so busy? Where are we so busy? Is the rate of happiness and peace going parallel with the rate of economic development? Are we enjoying the life?, needed to be answered.
