He was also a Visiting Lecturer at Baroda for a short time. Somnath Hore worked in various media over the years-print-making, drawing, water colour and sculpture in the later years. His published works are Tebhagar Diary and Aamar Chitro Bhabona. \u003cp\u003e He lived and worked in Santiniketan until his death on October 1, 2006. During the last 6 years of his life he could not work due to his ill health and blindness.
