Preface

Ayurveda is the science of life, explained by our ancient saints on three basis ie 1) Yogic base, 2) Poetic base, 3) Logical base. This makes very difficult to understand the Ayurveda. All the Ayurvedic scripts are in Devanagiri script. Because of globalization and liberalisation English language acquired major portion of the world. It is a time to speak Ayurveda in a language accepted by the major portion of world. This inspired me to write a book on Sharir Kriya Vijnana in English language being Prof. and HOD of the Dept. It has, therefore been designed to help the both UG and PG students by its clear ideas about the subject.

This book is primarily aimed serve the needs of the existing era students, the scope of comparison of modern science with Ayurvedic concepts. Hence the author has included modern science portion in this book considering the high magnitude of its necessary to understand Ayurveda.
