I is indeed a pleasure for us that the Department of Arabic, Persian, Urdu & Islamic Studies, Bhasha-Bhavana, Visva Bharati University, Santiniketan, W.B. India, organized a one day International Seminar on the on "Women Empowerment Through Language, Literature & Education" on 29th March, 2019 at the Department of Arabic, Persian, Urdu & Islamic Studies, Bhasha Bhavana, Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan.

We are extremely grateful to Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor (Upacharya) Prof. Bidyut Chakrabarty whose kind consent has helped to organize this Seminar. We are equally indebt to all the Delegates and Visva-Bharati Fraternity to make this event a successful one.

Various Research papers from across the globe emerged to mark the event of this one day International Seminar.

The present scenario of growing brutality against women in different spheres of life compelled to organize an International Seminar for Women upliftment. The importance of women cannot be ignored at the same time dignity of women is at stake across the Globe at various levels. If we speak of women entrepreneurs, at desk job or at grass root level, be it any disturbance or at large level War they are most vulnerable and foremost target of violence, who is supposed to be most sophisticated and valuable creature of the Almighty.

Seminar and literature cannot turn the World upside down but they will definitely bring change and compelled people to think rationally. With this hope to bring about a little change in the society the whole Department along with the Visva-Bharati Fraternity has tried to develop awareness among the people towards women empowerment and importance.
