About the Author :

Dr. B.S. Aggarwal did his Post-graduation, MS Orthopaedics from the Institute of Medical Education and Research, chandigrh (1974). He worked in the National Health Service in Liverpool, UK (1974-75). A Senior Consultant Surgeon in Orthopaedics, he has been based in Chandigarh for the last 30 years.

He has contributed several articles on health published in The Tribune, Chandigarh. Apart from his professional duties, he is active in social services, as is apparent from his position as Managing Chairman of the Home for the Old and Destitute at Chandigarh for the last 6 years.
