Book Description

About the Book
"We belong to the world - the world is our homeland. To state it more clearly, the entire universe is our homeland. In one corner of this universe there is a small planet called earth, and in one corner of this earth there is a community called the Bengalees. While advancing from the distant past, this community has reached the end of a dark period; a new year's dawn is about to break in its history. The Bengalees will have to move forward still further.

"The Bengalee community is not a mere handful of persons; they total 160 million people. So they have enough vitality to move forward, ignoring the frowns of death. This is not a community which has suddenly come into existence, nor is it a state which has only recently been demarcated; its political structure has undergone numerous transformations. Since it is so ancient, it has achieved progress in various stages. Just as it has assimilated many things from others, it has given many things to others.

"Consequently, Bengalee men have their own distinctive clothing, and the women have their own distinctive style of wearing saris. They have their own almanac, literature, script, and style of intonation, and they also have their own characteristic social customs. As far as I know, no other community in the world has so many unique specialities. .. .

"In fact, the Bengalee community is more than a nation; it has its own laws of inheritance, etc."

About the Author
The author began this book with `Tantra and Indo-Aryan Civilization", which summarizes the entire speciality) of Bengal's social and cultural lives. Sere he has elucidated the fact that the 3engalees are basically an Austrico-Monglo-Dravidian mixed race, and how Tantra has entered into the veins and capillaries of their existence. That is the reason that they have their own script and style of intonation, and different customs. Then he has beautifully described for the first time the exact point of origin of the civilization of Bengal in the land of laterite soil of Rarh. He has established that Rail was the cradle of civilization not only of Bengalees, but also of the world. He has written that human beings first made their advent in this land of Rarh. That was about one million years ago. Then he has entered into the vast topics of "Gondwanaland and the River Civilizations of Bengal" and "Rivers and Civilizations of Bengal". In these he has highlighted the following facts: "Thus in Bengal, there is a blending of three delta civilizations - the Gaunga, Brahmaputra and Rarh civilizations. This is the highest blended civilization of the world. Nature helps the people of Bengal in their intellectual progress, because no two great rivers like the Gaunga and the Brahmaputra merge together anywhere else in the world."
