About The Author

Prof. C. Mani (b. 1923) bani (b. 1923) began his carrier in the Central Hthe Central Hindi Directorate (New Delhi) but w Delhi) but soon joined as the Assistant Editor fcistant Editor for the prestigious project of Hroject of Hindi Visvakosha in the Nagari Prache Nagari Pracharani Sabha (Varanasi) and thereafte and thereafter he taught English to Tibetan studen Tibetan students for some years at Sarnath/ Varanaarnath/ Varanasi. In 1968-69, Mani joined as Lecturined as Lecturer in the Central Institute of Histitute of Higher Tibetan Studies (Sarnath) whe (Sarnath) where he taught Asian History for many tory for many years even after his superannuation in erannuation in 1985.
