Preface This book elucidates various aspects about Divine Energy such as the meaning of the word Shakti, the creation of Divine Energies, the types of Divine Energies based on the mission and with respect to deities such as Parvati, Lakshmi, etc. It also provides information on Yoginis, Matrukas, Energies in the form of rivers, Their mission, the meaning of the science of Tantra, the differences between the Vedas (Nigam) and the Tantra texts (Agam), the Shakta Darshans (holy texts), the seats of Divine Energy, etc. The book also discusses the various types of worshippers of Divine Energy, vamachar (the vama code of conduct), the panchamakar spiritual practice with the five principles beginning with letter `m' in Sanskrut and its implied meaning, objectives behind offering an animal sacrifice (bah, the types of animal sacrifices and human sacrifice. Devotees of the female deity (devi) like the Jogtin, Matangi, Gondhali, Potaraj and Hijada who arouse one's curiosity are also described here.

When some people read the Ramayana they feel like worshipping Rama, when they read the Ganapati Atharvashirsha, Lord Ganapati and on reading the Shivalilamrut, Lord Shiva. Similarly, after reading this book some might feel like worshipping Divine Energy. However, these people should keep in mind that doing this worship does not enhance the spiritual practice of every doer; it will benefit only those who need that worship to make spiritual progress. Otherwise, even if a lot of spiritual practice is done, it results in very little spiritual progress.
