Book Description
At the first sight, while the author was a student of philosophy, he appeared to me to be a man of rare order. Later I came to know that he had ashramic education under the Divine Yogi. Swami Satyananda Giri Maharaj, and was very closely associated with him for twenty years for proper training and blessings in original Kriyayoga.
On the passing of the physical body of Swami Satyananda Maharaj. Swamiji disassociated himself from all the organizations he was attached to and started meditating for realization in the Himalayas at Dunagiri (7950 feet).
It is said that here the Great Mahamuni Babaji, the Adhisthata Guru, the founder of Kriyayoga, initiated Yogiraj Sri Sri Shyama Charan Lahiri Mahasay (Baba) into Kriyayoga in 1861 in a cave.
Here Swamiji was observing silence. I was told that he broke his silence at the desire of Mahamuni Babaji and Divine Mother, and also at the request of devotees.
At this, one western Kriyanwita with folded hands requested Swap Maharaj on behalf of many to write the events, as briefly as he thinks f specially for western Kriyanwitas, who will surely be benefited.
Now, Swamiji is in an awkward position because he needs to state the background of how this message has come to him. Swamiji feels shy to d close the events in this matter for two reasons:
First, Swami Satyananda Giri Maharaj (1896-1971) was very much strict and reserved regarding the drawing of people's attention to events in life of a personal nature rather than serving them very secretly under Divine Guidance.
Secondly, the events through which this message comes to him are very much personal in nature. So Swamiji feels embarrassed in this matter. however, now, it is here for the benefit of all the seekers of Truth.
It is the message for East and West from a Divine Himalayan Yogi.
