The Real Story of India's Banks

Foreword This story is for the people of the Country.Today serious efforts are being made to project the Banks in India, especially the Public Sector Banks as villains. The reality is the policies of the Govt and RBI which are responsible. Under the present Governor, RBI, Dr. Urjit Patel and Finance Minister Shri Arun Jaitley the entire Banking Sector is moving towards a major crisis.

Corporates are looting the Banks. The Non Performing Assets are increasing due to Corporates. The Haircut-term coined to indicate how much of the loan to Corporate is written off ranges from 20% to 83%. So the Govt is helping the defaulters and not the Banks, Reliance has been helped by giving 83% haircut on Alok Industries.

The Banks have been forced to neglect the small farmers, women, small traders, small and micro enterprises by reducing staff strength and diluting the priority sector lending norms.
