Book Description

Back the Book

To summarize the compassionate outpouring of an enlightened mystic, whose published library of work includes over two hundred titles, is challenging at best. In this collection of responses to question, Osho himself captures his entree message: “My whole teaching consists of two words, meditation and love.”

Here, he also introduces his vision of the new man who embodies the teaching-Zoorba the Buddha. Into one identity, he brings together the lusty nature of Zorba and the ethereal Buddha are melded to become a silence which can Singh and dance.

He calls this new man the whole man: “The man is whole, the holy man,” and showers such acceptance and love on each and every person that this vision becomes an immediate possility for all.

The jokes are numerous and hilarious. How does a holy man get to be so wickedly funy? Come and heard the message: meditate, love-and laugh.

About The Book

“There is a beautiful statement of Mevlana Jalauddin Rumi, one of the greatest such masters ever. Take it to your heart.” Osho Come, come, whoever you are; wanderer, worshipper, lover of learning. It does not a caravan of despair.

Come, even if you have broken your vow a thousand times. Come, come, and yet again come. For over 35 years, Osho was speaking to international audiences of seekers, addressing their essential questions and concerns. The international press calls him “A 21st Century Prophet” and “an oracle of modon times” His books and audio lectures are intentional bestsellers

Osho himself says that he is neither a prophet nor a philosopher; he is simply sharing his own experience. The Sunday Tines of London described him as” one of the 1000 makers of the zoth century” and American author Tom Robbins has called him “the most dangerous man since Jesus Christ”-both comments reflecting the profound influence reflecting the profound influence of his revolutionary approach to the science of inner transformation, Spoken with authority, charity, sharpness and humor, his insights address by the timeless and timely concerns that tend to escape our notice in the clamor and overload of daily life.

Osho defies categorization. His thousands of talks covers everything from the individual quest for meaning to the most urgent social polities issues facing society today. Osho has been described by Sunday times in London as one of the “1000 Makers of the both by American author Tom Robbins as “the most dangerous man since Jesus Christ." Sunday Mind-Day (India) has selected Osho as one of ten people along with Gandhi and Buffha-who have changed the destiny of India.

A bout his own work Osho has said he is helping to create the conditions for the birth of a new kind of unman being. He often characterizes this human as “Zorba the Buddha”- capable both of enjoying the earthy pleasures of a Zorba the Greek and the silent serenity of a Georama the Buddha.

Running like a thread though all aspects of osho’s talks and meditations is a vision that encompasses both the timeless wisdom of all post and the highest potential of todays (and tomorrow’s) science and technology.

Osho is known for his revolution contribution to the science of inner transformation, with an approach to meditations that acknowledges the accelerated pace of contemporary life. His unique osho Active Meditations are designed to first release the accumulated stresses of body and mind, so that it is then to take an experience of stillness and thought-free relaxation into daily life.

Preface

Have you ever seen night going? Very few people even become aware of things which are horning every day. Have you ever seen the evening coming? The midnight and its song? The sunrise and its beauty?

We are behaving like behaving almost like blind people. In such a beautiful world we are in small ponds of our own misery. It is familiar, so even if somebody wants to pulled out of your misery, of your suffering. Otherwise, there is so much joy all around you have just to be aware of it and to become a participant, not a spectator.

Philosophy is speculation, Zen is participation. Participate in the night leaving, participate in the evening coming participate in the stars and participate in the clouds; make participation your life style and the whole existence becomes such a joy, such an ecstasy.

You could not have dreamt of a better universe.
