मान परिभाषा- Glossary of Measurements

Mana paribhasha or Glossary of Measurements is a small compendium of work which is very much helpful to quantify the substances. From Samhita period to till this 21th Century, several modifications and refinements were carried in public domain as well as in Legal aspects not only in India, in several parts of this world. All such aspects which are essential for AYUSH clinicians, academicians and researchers are compiled together and presented here in this book.

Other than classical versions, few important units of measurements essential while learning the health science are also incorporated here. The brief history of few measuring systems is also given for better understanding of the subjects, especially for the benefit of Post-graduate and Doctoral scholars.

The book appears apt in diagnostic, prognostic, pharmaceutical, and therapeutic application of AYUSH system of Medicine.

Prof. M.S. Krsihnamurthy is a renowned author who has the credit of publishing more than ten books related to Ayurveda and health care. He is working as Dean (Doctoral studies) in Alva's Ayurveda Medical College, Moodbidri, Karnataka. He is a recognized PG and Ph.D guide with the professional experience of more than 20 years in the field of Ayurveda, including 17 years of PG teaching experience in Rasashastra and Bhaishajya kalpana.

He is the Founder Secretary of Srimuliya Rajatadri Ayurveda Seva Trust (R) Alike - 2002. Being a blogger, he has contributed more than 1800 health articles in easyayurveda.com. Dr. Murthy has published more than 80 articles in Indexed journals and presented more than 50 papers in various National and International seminars. He is the peer reviewer of several Indexed journals too. His recent books - Abhidhana manjari, Madhava chikitsa, Rasachandamnshu, Basarajeeyam, Vaidyasara sangraha, Hamsaraja nidana (Bhishakchakra chittotsava), Easy ayurveda home remedies, Mana Paribhasha (Glossary of Measurements), Sahasrayoga etc.
