Handbook on Snakes of Kerala

This handbook is an illustrated field guide to snakes of Kerala region aimed at both amateurs and wildlife experts. It describes more than 100 species, both venomous and non-venomous noted in this region. Many of the species covered in this handbook are also found in other states of India too. Snake identification can be done both taxonomically and photographically by this handbook, Specific distribution status of each specimen are also included in it. Each species account includes description, taxonomy, natural history, morphology, habitat, a distribution map and look-alikes.
