Kaushik Phukan has done his graduation and postgraduation in English from Delhi University. He has been writing for different magazines and newspapers and is presently working on his second novel.

T hanks to my grandma & grandpa, who used to entertain me and keep me engrossed with their delightful stories in the cold dark nights by the fireside.. words will fail me, if I try to thank ma & baba who showed me the light, even in the darkest of nights.. I am eternally grateful to jintu & tinku for listening to my dreams of building castles in the air, and that too with a straight face.. I can still remember nihar & kiran, yawning away to glory reading my worst of stories, but still reading on with great (pretending) interest.. thank you babul mama for always encouraging me..
