Book Description
We cannot, at any time, say the final word on any Reality and close the chapter. As we grow, we understand more. With new understandings, we re-write, write more and add more Light. We should always be humble to readily modify and even to give up our older understandings, sometimes. This has been our experience when we worked on this book. There is so much to learn and so much to unlearn."
This book is a sequel to 'New Age Realities', which was the result of the work done by the 'Study Centre' under the guidance of Guruji Krishnananda.
As before, this book tries to broaden our understanding of some Spiritual Realities like intuition, telepathy, Akashic Records and so on, while highlighting some of the common misconceptions. We consider some of the subjects like intuition to be very relevant in the present times of chaos and confusion. When so many people are unable to find appropriate guidance in their daily life to take correct decisions in all matters ranging from Spiritual to Material, we felt the need to spread awareness of the fact that anyone can turn inward for guidance.
This book highlights some of our inner abilities and explains how to develop them and use them. These subjects are unfortunately not researched by mainstream science because, science is yet to understand fully even many of the physical phenomena that are observable in the laboratory. Phenomena like telepathy cannot be observed in a laboratory because we do not yet have the technology to detect thought energy. So, for now, we consider these and many other subjects to be beyond the reach of mainstream science.
The information given in this book is based on the knowledge that is directly perceived through the faculty of intuition. We first gather the knowledge already available in books and the Internet, compile them and scrutinise them with the help of the intuition and arrive at conclusions. These conclusions broaden the present understanding, which can always be improved by deepening the understanding in the future.
For the reader to accept these findings, he or she must also employ their intuition. Almost all major breakthroughs in science have come through intuition, though it is not widely acknowledged. French scientist Jules Henri Poincare said, "It is through science that we prove, but through intuition that we discover".
When a scientist does research, he may work at the conscious level through contemplation and analysis for weeks and months without any success. But when he gives up the search and lets go, without his knowledge he unconsciously gets connected to the Source of all knowledge and receives it in a flash. One of the most famous examples of this is the discovery of the structure of benzene molecule through a day-dream.
Some phenomena like the Aura have been detected by scientists with the help of special instruments but these discoveries are not accepted by the proponents of mainstream science as 'scientific'. Though the reasons for this are many, one of the reasons is, the technology used in some of these devices do not follow the laws of present-day science. Accepting such new technology that works based on principles not yet fully understood may shake the very foundations of existing science. An example of this is the promising field of radionics, which is debunked by conventional scientists.
Knowledge existed even before the advent of modern science. Examples of this are the Vedas and the Upanishads, which contain knowledge beyond the reach of mainstream science of today. Such knowledge can only be realised through direct personal experience and not through tests in a laboratory. How did such advanced knowledge come down?
