Foreword Mira Alfassa (Mother of Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Pondicherry, India) was not just a spiritual teacher who lived with us. It is unbelievable and incredible to know such a magnificent personality lived with us as our contemporary. More particularly when we know that the Queen Hatchepsut of Egypt, Manimekalai of India, Queen Elizabeth I of England, Joan of Arc of France and Mona Lisa of Leonardo Da Vinci, who were the most famous women in the history of the world, were her past reincarnations.

Her occult experiences started when she was just a child and continued to grow when she met world famous occultists Max and Alma Theon of Algeria.

She found a guru, a companion and an associate when she met Aurobindo Ghose, a great freedom fighter of India. Together they established Sri Aurobindo Ashram of Pondicherry as it stands today.
