About the Book
In this Anthology the writer presents some pebbles, picked up from the shore of Sri Aurobindo's oceanic Thought. Each pebble represents an aspect of that Thought or Knowledge, appearing in the form of an Essay or an Article. ...Pebbles, collected and chiselled over a stretch of nearly two decades, have been, in the present Volume, arrayed in such a way that they impart an impression of a structure, - not a bare structure, but an ornate one, with a central Hall demanding admiration for its prestige look enhanced by the wall portraits of a saint-yogi, which bespeak his living presence under the canopy of the heavens, as if for guiding a spiritual seeker through a large dark chamber of ignorance to the domain of 'Golden Light', serving as a beacon of a still far-off and greater domain - the domain of ethereal Light, - the Supramental, the ultimate destination, the 'home', which the seeker can reach through his long terrestrial journey, but this 'homeward' journey is not all for the seeker, - this is to be integrated by his return journey, announcing the approach of the ethereal supramental Light unto the earth, - signalling the dawning of that Light over the earth, - turning thereby the earthly life into a life teeming with divine wealth.
