Vijaya College is One of the Leading colleges of Academy of general Education, Manipal. The Institution has organized three National Seminars during the academic year 2011-12 Conducted by the department of Sanskrit, Chemistry and Commerce. The department of Sanskrit organized and commerce. Organized three seminar on “Contribution of Sanskrit to the field of knowledge” collaboration with Poornaprajna Samshodhana Mandiram, poornaprajna Vidyapeetha, Banglore. It wasmemorable acadmic event. The seminar provided an opportunity to witness the deliberations by many reputed scholars, not only to the Teachers of various colleges but also to the invited delegates from the near by veda pathashalas .the institution feels proud to organize such seminars which can produce effective academic output and create interest in studies of our ancient scriptures and other work in Sanskrit.

I profusely thank the Chairman and the Director, Pooraprajna Samshodhana Mandiram, Banglore for their wholehearted co- operation. The Staff of Vijaya College worked together for the success of the seminar.
