About the Author 91 Year Old Shri AR Parthasarathi was born in a respected family on November 10, 1931. Educated in Tiruvallikeni and Mylapore, he pursued his graduation in Science and later on went on to qualify as SAS (civil) SAS (commercial) and Hindi Ratna. He was selected for the Indian Audit and Accounts Dept under all India selection. After briefly serving in that department for five years, he joined the prestigious Department of Atomic Energy under Dr Homi Bhabha, Vikram Sarabhai, Sethna, Dr Raja Ramanna and others. After his successful career in finance and accounts he retired as a financial advisor in 1989. He has thereafter helped several institutions set up centers for the development of computer programs for stock market operations. Owing to his immense love for the Sanskrit, he ventured into translation of important works in English and also perfected the use of language software in Sanskrit and other Indian languages. He has successfully translated around forty works and continues to do so as enthusiastically as before. GIRI is proud to have published his works like Vishnu Sahasranamam, Narayaneeyam and many others. The zeal for work and dedication towards the cause of Sanatana Dharma is praiseworthy and serves as a source of inspiration.
