This book 'Christian Ethics and New Horizons' is mostly dealt with methodological issues in Christian ethics. Ethics should have new exploration in relation to different issues from the context. The micro- experiences, realities and issues are significant to be considered in our attempts. Doing christian ethics is an important task as we are to be sensitive to the changes and challenges that are found in the context. We are to be open to the realities and horizons in order to evolve an adequate and relevant ethical methodology and ethical response.
The issues such as ethical methodology, historiography, ecology, gender, dalit epistemology, covid-19 pandemic and identities are considered in this book. There are several realities and issues around us which are to be analysed and addressed as we have new reflections. More emphasis is given to methodology in this book, which would help the people to have further critical reflections and to evolve an adequate methodological framework. The contextual and liberative responses are very crucial as we deal with the issues. The crisis of the people who are victimized and the role of praxis are to be seriously regarded in our doing of ethics. I hope that this book may enable the readers to be people centered and praxis oriented in their perspectives.
