Book Description
Introduction
When I was about 40 years old, I started feeling some difficulty in passing urine. I was shy to speak about it to anyone. I did not tell anybody that I took a ling time to pass urine. One day I was going to Patel Nagar along with Sh. Ved Prakash Shastri, when suddenly I felt like urinating and stopped to do so. Since I was taking long to urinate, I stooped midway because I was feeling embarrassed in from of Shastriji and hence resumed my walk.
One of my relatives Sh. Kailash Chand had got hi prostate operated upon. After his discharge from the hospital, he was still facing problems in passing the urine. When an ultrasound was conducted, it was revealed that one or two pieces of prostate had remained inside. He had to undergo another operation.
One of my friend, namely Shriram Gupta had also undergone a prostate operation. Encouraged by him, I went to AIIMS and a date was fixed for the operation. Suddenly my daughter Vedvati visited and asked me, What my trouble was and why I was getting operated? I said I have no pain. Then she told me, then why are you getting operated? I dropped the idea of an operation.
I have been regularly practicing Yog and therefore my health remains good. My prostate too has not given me much trouble during all this time.
But at the same time, to keep my prostate problem under control, I kept trying homeopathy, Naturecure, Magnetic Therapy and Herbal remedies.
In this booklet, I have mentioned abut Sarvabandh when Dr. R.L. Goel from London visited me then I discussed with him about Prostate problems. He only told me about the Sarvabandh exercise. He also told me about pumpkin seeds. The yellow pumpkin which is used as a vegetable produces seeds with kernels. These kernels are very beneficial in the case of prostate troubles. In fact, he sent me the kernels from London; Dr. Goel is a great humanist and very good person. Besides being an experienced doctor, he is also a scholar of Sanskrit and Hindi. He has been very kind to me and I feel indebted to him.
The figures on pages 7 & 8 of this booklet have been reproduced from the magazine called Swasthya aur Jeevan, I express my thanks to the editor.
I had only one aim before me when I started writings this booklet- one should be a master of one's own body. People should be able to keep their body healthy, energetic and active all their life by regularly performing Yogic exercises according to their capacity, convenience and time. At the same time, any one of the remedies suggested in this booklet may also be tried.
This booklet is meant for the general public, so the language is kept very simple. At the same time, the cures and medicines suggested are all easily available, cheap, domestic and without any harmful aftereffect.
I am confident that this booklet will help people in preventing an solving the prostate problems and also in maintaining a disease-free positive health.
