The Dvyasrayakavya has a unique place not only in the history of grammatical poems of Sanskrit literature but also for its historical value for the history of Caulukyas of Gujarat and for the cultural study of Gujarat during eleventh and twelfth century A.D.

About the Author


Dr Satya Pal Narang is at present Lecturer in Sanskrit, Institute of Post Graduate (E) Studies, University of Delhi. He got his Ph. D. degree on "A study of Sastrakavyas in Sanskrit Literature in the year 1967. His other published works are Bhas?i-kavya : A study (Delhi, 1969) and Vaidika Vyakara?a (Delhi, 1970).
