Book Description

About the Book
The United Nations, which India approached early in 1948, has so far failed to redress the wrong. Interested Powers, taking advantage of the situation, allowed the issue to be side tracked and get lost in power politics. Consequently the relations between got embittered, resulting in armed clash between the two India and Pakistan.

Once the third neighbour, the USSR, took the initiative in arranging a meeting between the Prime Minister of India and the President of Pakistan at Tashkent, to smoothen and normalize the relations between the two countries.

This book discusses such issues throughly.
