About the Book
It is this question that Leading without Licence: Leadership the Anna Hazare Way answers. In this book, Satheesh Namasivayam and Sivaram Bandhakavi illustrate how Mr Hazare is masterfully practising a set of principles, proven to be effective over the ages, in exercising leadership.
As they explain, leadership is an act that comprises the performance of smaller sub-acts, in expanding circles of influence. If you understand these sub-acts and know how to combine them, you too can become a leader.
Using the Anna Movement as an example and discussing other comparable cases, Leading without Licence provides guidelines for how you can lead in your everyday life - whether you are an ordinary citizen who wants to address social issues in your neighbourhood, a student seeking to change campus politics, or a professional looking to make a mark in your company. No matter where you are or what you do, if you aspire to become a leader, this book is a must-read for you.
