A New Dawn

Preface New Dawn' is a simple story of hope, faith and conviction A that narrates the life of a couple who have migrated from Nepal to Australia. The events in the story mainly occur in Kantipur and Sonbarsa, a small village in the Parsa district which becomes a prominent venue in the novel. From time to time, the story goes back and forth from the present to past, reflecting on the bygone events of the main characters - Jara, Roan Lucy and Dev.

The things I've witnessed and experienced in life have prompted me to write this novel where I have tried to depict all kinds of human feelings- from love to hate, rising to falling, happiness to depression and, also vice versa. Life is beautiful when you are surrounded by positive people and people who love you and make you feel special, however, life is not always a basket of ripe cherries. No matter how hard you try or how good you are, sometime things do not work in your favour. Against your will, things often fall out of place. The unpredictability of life can stir chaos, creating frustration, depression and feelings of unworthiness. This is the story of protagonist, Jara, whose life comes to halt when her husband.
