About the Author Dr. Asim Kumar Chatterjee (40) is already well-known as a serious Indologist of modern times. A teacher of the post-graduate Department of Ancient Indian Histroy and Culture, Calcutta University, he has already published a good number of works on indology, His latest book entitled A Comprehensive Histroy of Jainism' has been acclaimed as the greatest work on this particular subject.
