Book Description
Welcome
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it gives me immense pleasure to extend a warm welcome to all yoga lovers, our guests, delegates and well wishers at this International Conference.
We have a wide range of speakers, participants and delegates. Yoga always had a global appeal and in present times it has become a global phenomenon. On one hand it is being increasingly practiced for health and healing and on the other, it is being marketed as remedy for all maladies.
Through the means of the panel discussion at this conference we have taken up some bold topics, which Yoga enthusiasts often talk about, however, seldom discuss it at a common platform. I am sure these discussions will lead us closer to the reality.
We have Yoga experts, medical professionals, researchers, academicians and policy makers participating in this conference. It would be only through collective efforts of all that we would be able to draft a common minimum programme for advancement of Yoga in India, in various perspectives.
Kaivalyadhama is dedicated to offer a wide platform to all the Yoga lovers who believe in brotherhood of all human race and wish to serve the humanity through Yoga.
We are happy to present this souvenir, which contains some valuable articles by Yoga experts and old associates. It also details the activities of the institute and its branches.
We thankfully acknowledge the continuing support form the Ministry of HRD, Government of India and Department of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra.
We are also thankful to all those individuals, institutions and agencies who have extended their support towards the success of this conference.
May the makers of all, make this conference successful. May he help us in realizing all our potentials. May he give us the strength to spread the peach and harmony all around us.-Subodh Tiwari
