In Hindu religion each and every festival is celebrated by giving special importance to one particular Deity. During festival days everybody in the family together pray to God. Different varieties of dishes are prepared and offered to Deity and then everybody together sit and consume them with happiness. Thus it provides an occasion for togetherness in the familY From our ancestor's period during each and every festival particular dishes are prepared depending upon the "God" we pray. Now a days our younger generation live separately due to their work and other reasons. Just because they don't have a chance to live with their elders, they don't even know how these festivals were celebrated. They don't have time to learn these dishes from elders.
