Book Description

Back of the Book

‘The Voice of Babaji and Mysticism Unlocked, ‘Babaji’s Masterkey to All Ills (Kriya),’ and ‘Babajis Death of Death (Kriya),’ reprinted here, and are profound and important statements from one of the world’s greatest living spiritual masters. The author, Satguru Kriya Babaji Nagaraj, predicted that they would eventually be a powerful source of inspiration and support for the Mission of Kriya Yoga: unity in diversity, world peace and God-realization. These works are rare gems, which will inspire all who aspire for a higher life.

During 1952 and 1953 Babaji appeared nightly before his “beloved child” Sri V.T. Neelakintan, a mystic and respected journalist, at the latter’s home in Egmore, Madras, India. Babaji had a request for his disciple Neelakantan and his “other half” S.A.A. Ramaiah. He wanted his teachings to be recorded in order that a new phase could begin in the Kriya Yoga Movement. He said that with the publication of these books his Kriya Yoga would spread to the nooks and corners of this earth. Babaji dictated these three books to V.T. Neelakantan, who wrote them down verbatim.

These books will inspire the reader to adopt timeless truths in a practical way and to learn Babaji’s Kriya Yoga, a scientific art of perfect God-Truth Union.

Publisher’s Foreword to the Second Edition

‘The Voice of Babaji and Mysticism Unlocked, ’‘Babaji’s Masterkey to All ills (Kriya),’ and ‘Babaji’s Death of Death (Kriya),’ reprinted here, are profound and important statements from one of the world’s greatest living spiritual masters. The orchestrator of these books, Satguru Kriya Babaji Nagaraj, predicted that they would eventually be a powerful source of inspiration and support for the Mission of Kriya Yoga: unity in diver- sin; world peace and God-realization.

During 1952 and 1953, Babaji appeared nightly before his “beloved child” Sri VT. Neelakantan, a mystic and respected journalist, at the latter’s home in Egmore, Madras, India. Babaji had a request for his disciples Neelakantan and his “other half” Sri S.A.A. Ramaiah (Babaji’s “beloved son”). He wanted his teachings to be recorded, in order for a new phase to begin in the Kriya Yoga Movement. He said that with the publication of these books his Kriya Yoga would spread to the nooks and corners of this earth. Babaji dictated these three books to VT. Neelakantan, who wrote them down verbatim. Their introductory chapters were written by S,A.A. Ramaiah under Babaji’s guidance. Three additional books were also promised by Babaji. Our research to date has not enabled us to find these additional promised volumes.

The original editions of these three books were printed only once and in a limited number. They have been out of print for the past 50 years. Regarding the difficulty in publishing the original edition, Babaji at one point said to Neeiakantan, “You want me to tap somebody to take the next book outright by paying royalty?” Neelakantan replied, “Yes, Master, yes, enough of this botheration for us.” He also indicated that he would “tap” someone in America to bring them out eventually.

Babaji has been “tapping” the present publishers, Babaji’s Kriya Yoga Order of Acharyas, over the past several years to reprint his books. It is not that we have not heard before now but out of respect for the original publishers, we waited until the copyright of the first edition expired and the need to publish the books was unmistakable. We have been given the right to reprint the hooks by the ultimate author Kriya Babaji Nagaraj himself.

These books have been edited to remove errors of grammar, punctuation and typing In addition, antiquated words, spellings and sentence structures have been updated into American English. VT. Neelakantan himself remarked that many things were inserted and subtracted at the last moment, even as the manuscript was sitting in the printing press itself He also said that there were a number of repetition errors, due to the pressure to print them by certain dates, his weakened physical condition and the lack of funds necessary to edit and print. Every effort has been made to retain the nuances and powerful beauty and wit of the original edition. The editor has humbly offered her love and service to make these shakti filled treasures not only accessible, hut also clear to the modern reader. Our sincere thanks to Markus Doll, who painstakingly attended to the challenge of formatting three books into one.

We hope these books will inspire the reader to adopt these timeless truths in a practical way and to learn Babaji’s Kriya Yoga, a scientific art of perfect God Truth Union. All proceeds from the sale of these books will he used by the publisher, Babaji’s Kriya Yoga Order of Acharyas, a non-profit educational chant3 registered in Canada, to support the cost of training people in Babaji’s Kriya Yoga, in free, public seminars throughout the world. we wish to extend our love, gratitude and sincere appreciation to the authors, Sri VT. Neelakantan and Sri S.A.A. Ramaiac for recording and preserving these precious Teachings and for giving us a glimpse into their personal relationship with Satguru Kniya Babaji.
