About the Author

Dr. L. Mahadevan completed his post graduation M.D. Kayacikitsa, from Govt. Ayurveda College, Thiruvananthapuram with high academic credentials. He does intensive research in Neurology and Panchakarma. He practices in Neurology and Panchakarma. He practices in Derisanamcope (A village in Kanyakumari dist, Tamilnadu) and in Chennai. He teaches clinical medicine to students. His classes on clinical medicine to students. His classes on clinical medicine are unique in nature. He has written twenty books on Ayurveda.

Preface

We are happy to publish "Practical Prescriber of Ayurveda Medicine". This is based on the clinical experience and our understanding of tridos a theory and its application in clinical practice. The contents will be concise. Whatever the therapeutics we have tried and found to be very good are shared with you. We have given you an idea about multidisciplinary management program for common diseases that are seen by a general practitioner of ayurveda system in his day- today practice.

I hope this short guide will be a quick referral book for you. You can carry this book in your hand or keep a copy in your clinic which can be referred instantly. We wish you all the best.
