Conditions of Peasants in India (200-600 AD)

Introduction History is the chronological study of the past or past events. Usually a chronological record of events, as of the life or development of a people or institution, often includes an explanation of those events. The past records of events always contain activities of the rulers and their state (kingdom). But as of now there have been fundamental changes in this concept of history and no more it is a completion of more royal activities. Now, history is being linked to activities of common masses by dint of whose labor society and state has come up bit by bit. These common men mainly include peasants - a producing class, who hold the key in laying the foundation of the country's economy. These peasants have been the principal factors of civilization and production whose valuable contributions play a significant role in economic development of every country. Therefore, in order to assess the real foundation, economic life and development of any country's culture, it is essential to know about the peasants.
