Preface

We are happy to present this monograph on “Ayurvedic Physiotherapy & Yoga” to the reader which has been written to explore the knowledge of ancient classical detoxification therapies from a different angle. This book is a blend of intelligence derived from the roots of Ancient wisdom and modern methodology of clinical application in the scientific way.

Based on classical and Keraliya Ayurvedic Panchakarma, a comprehensive method of internal purification, this book has been written to convey the knowledge of deep secrets of healing in an very simple but logical way for easy application.

Unfortunately, such an important branch of Ayurvedic therapeutics is not recognized so well in spite of its amazing result oriented efficacy. The technicians lack correct scientific knowledge and its rational application, this being a cause for the modern community to go for modern techniques of physiotherapy which is actually derived from Ayurvedic principles.

We hope that this book will be an eye opener for the Ayurvedic br non Ayurvedic practitioners, students and technicians and hope it gets its due recognition in the medical world.
