Facets of a Marwar Historian

Dwijendra Tripathi was formerly Professor of Economics and Business History at Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and presently Senior Faculty at Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India, Ahmedabad. He had his education at Allahabad, Wisconsin and Harvard Universities. Member of several prestigious professional organizations, Professor Tripathi has a large number of, articles to his credit in well-known Indian and foreign journals. His publications include :
(1) The Dynamics of a Tradition-Karturbhai Lalbhai and his entrepreneurship;
(2) Towards a New Frontier-History of the Bank of Baroda (in association with Priti Misra); and
(3) Business Communities of India (ed.) B.L. Bhadani is presently Reader in Economic History at The Centre of Advanced Study in History, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh (India). He has obtained his Ph.D. degree from the same University on the theme ‘Economy of Marwar in the 17th Century'. He is author of many articles on Economic - History, published in the journals and the Proceedings of Indian History Congress. His Hindi Translation of pelsaert's Jahangir's India has recently been published.
