Your next 7 days

Today the average life span is 70 or 80 years (25550 or 29200 days). That's how long you will live if you are healthy and sound. The life on earth is a pilgrimage and don't you think it would be a wise use of time to set aside 7 of those days to figure out what God wants you to do with the rest of the time left.

Foreword

By God's abundant Grace, many of us have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ into our lives as our personal Savior, but many are still stuck at cross roads. Many of them do not know how to successfully continue on this faith journey. Some of us have the experience of knowing the Lord personally, but are not familiar with the steps to go on to maturity. It is at this juncture that Bro. Jiju, through his book "The Art of Defeating Death' is helping us with this spiritual journey.

The author mentions that this book is intended as a guide to a 7 day spiritual journey, which should transform your life. This is not intended as a book which is read and kept away. Go through it, study it and refer back to it during your spiritual journey.

The Art of Defeating Death' is an easy to read book. Overall, there are no theological jargons. The text is simple and it tell the readers that "God loves them", whether he is lovable or unlovable. The writer explains quite clearly that God's love for us is without any strings attached, unlike human love. He loves us just because He loves us. In 1972, in a camp for students conducted by the Evangelical Union, I experienced this 'love of God' towards me and submitted my life to Him.
