Book Description
I like to introduce a book regarding festivals celebrated India and especiallying Maharashtra and its relation to Ayurveda. This book will be useful to the people of todays generation who think that celebrating festivals are useless.
The aim of this book is to spread awareness regarding Ayurveda as well as scientific approach towards the celebration of festivals.

Dr. Manisha Dunghav has completed her B.A.M.S. from B.S.A.M. Sawantwadi, Dist. Sindhudurga, Mumbai University and M.D. from K.G.M.P'S Ayurved medical college, Mumbai University. She has completed her M. A. degree in Sanskrit Grammar from Mumbai University.
She has worked as Assistant Professor in Y.M.T. Ayrvedic Medical College, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai and S.N.K.D's Nalasopara Ayurved Medical College, Nalasopara, Dist. Thane from the year 1999-2005. Then she worked as Associate Professor in Department of Basic Principles at Dr. D. Y. Patil Ayurved College Hospital & Research Institute, Nerul, Navi Mumbai, for the year 2006-2016.
At present she is working as Professor in the Department of KriyaSharir at Day Ayurved Medical College Hospital & Research Institute BhandahKalah, Kaithi, Varanasi. Her research articles been published in various National & International journals. Her various articles published in various magazines. She takes part in various social activities like conducting medical camps, health awareness programs in various schools & colleges. She takes part in various national and international seminars. She has worked as examiner in M.U.H.S. University. Now she is working as a P.G. Teacher in above said Institute.
Her academic experience of seventeen years can be enlightening to the students of Ayurveda through this book.
